Celebrity chef line up announced
Celebrity chef, Anton Edelmann, will visit Cowes Yacht Haven this month as he takes part in IslandExpo 2010. The culinary wizard, who first came to the attention of the British public as a regular judge on the BBC’s Masterchef, has been confirmed as one of the guest chefs for the catering and hospitality exhibition.
Anton, who was the longest serving Maitre Chef de Cuisine in the history of London’s Savoy Hotel, will showcase his culinary skills in the exhibition’s display kitchen.
Joining him and bringin the glitz and glamour of Harrods and The Ivy to The Isle of Wight, will be Aneke Spacie. A number of island chefs will also show visitors how it is done, including Jose Graziosi from the George and Tyler Torrence from The West Bay Club, both in Yarmouth; Roger Serjent from The Taveners in Godshill; Charlie Bartlett from The Garlic Farm in Newchurch and Adam Fendyke of Goodman’s Bistro, Ventnor.
Ian Gregory, Cowes Yacht Haven’s Event Centre Manager, said: “Everyone at Cowes Yacht Haven is looking forward to seeing Anton in action. Island Expo was a great success last year and helped bring catering and hospitality businesses together from across the island. We can’t wait to see how this year’s is even bigger and better.”
