Launch into the summer sailing season for £99
COWES Yacht Haven is extending its special offer of a lift, wash and launch service for less than £100, ahead of a busy summer of sailing. The £99 offer was due to expire at the end of March but the team at Cowes Yacht Haven has decided to extend it until June 30, allowing customers more time to take advantage of the saving. It will kick start a summer of top sailing events at Cowes Yacht Haven - the home of international boating since 1800.
The season will spring into action with the RORC Easter Challenge between April 2 and 4 and will continue with the Royal Yachting Association’s Spring Muster on the 23rd, 24th and 25th.
The Yacht Haven will be a hive of activity in May as the month kicks off with one of the biggest dates in the rigid inflatable boats calendar - RIBEX2010. This year’s event, which takes place from May 7 to 9, will be opened by TV adventurer, Bear Grylls, and will feature its own live music event at the Yacht Haven on May 8. RIBEX will be followed by the Manches Cup and the Vice Admirals Cup, both running from May 14 to 16.
The famous Round the Island Race will return to Cowes Yacht Haven on June 19 and will see an army of sailors compete against one another in a battle for glory on the water.
July 31 marks the beginning of Cowes Week at Cowes Yacht Haven. With over 100,000 spectators expected to attend and enjoy the huge choice of sailing and social events, Cowes Yacht Haven will once again be at the centre of the action.
The Little Britain Challenge Cup will return to Cowes Yacht Haven from September 16 to 19. Throughout the years, this sailing regatta has raised thousands of pounds for several charities including the Ellen MacArthur Trust, the Paralympic Sailing Team and the Jubilee Sailing Trust.
