J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race

Competitors travel from all over the world to take part in the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, making it one of the most popular fixtures on the Solent calendar with 1700+ boats taking part.
This is a handicapped race which means everyone from Olympic medallists to weekend sailors can compete on an equal basis.
The boats race anti clockwise around the Isle of Wight, starting at the Royal Yacht Squadron line and heading west towards the Needles, sailing a total of 55 nautical miles.
