JP Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race

Competitors travel from all over the world to take part in the JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, making it one of the most popular fixtures on the Solent calendar with almost 2,000 boats taking part.
The Round the Island race is a handicapped which means everyone form Olympic medallists to weekend sailors can compete equally.
The boats race anticlockwise around the Isle of Wight, starting at the Royal Yacht Squandron line and heading west towards the Needles, sailing a total of 55 miles.
