Cowes Yacht Haven Directors

Jeremy has been involved with the marine industry for most of his working life.  As a younger man he served his time as a boatbuilders apprentice in Falmouth.  For the last 30 years he has owned and managed SeaSafe Systems, a world renowned Lifejacket manufacturer, based on the Island. 

Jeremy moved to the Island 20 years ago and has held a number of voluntary posts including 6 years as a Cowes Harbour Commissioner and 5 years as Chairman of British Marine Isle of Wight.  He joined The Cowes Yacht Haven Board in 2018 and The Cowes Town Waterfront Trust Board in 2019 and is Chairman of both boards.

Graham lives in Cowes and brings a keen interest in the maritime world alongside a background in finance and public service. He was Chief Financial Officer at Red Funnel from 2019 to 2023 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

He has supported the region’s maritime economy as Vice Chair of Maritime UK Solent and is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights and an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute.

On the Island, Graham is a Non-Executive Director of the Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Vice Chair of the charity Independent Arts. He’s a trustee of the Isle of Wight Literary Festival and recently stepped down after three and a half years as a governor of the Isle of Wight College, including time as Vice Chair.

He’s a Fellow of both the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Directors and has previously served on the board of the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership. Outside of work, Graham enjoys Island life and being involved in projects that support the Island community.

Daniel has more than 16 years of marine and hospitality experience having managed operations in the UK and overseas in the marina, travel and club sectors.  Daniel grew up on the Island and, having worked on the mainland for a number of years, returned in 2006 to join Bembridge Sailing Club as General Manager.  In May 2018 he joined the Cowes Yacht Haven team as Managing Director.
Daniel is an active member of British Marine South and Isle of Wight.
As a keen sailor Daniel can be regularly seen on the water racing and cruising with his family. 

Andrew was appointed as a Director of Cowes Yacht Haven in 2019 and reappointed at the 2021 AGM.  He started sailing at the age of 8 in a Wayfarer.  He studied at The Britannia Royal Naval College and The University of Southampton and now manages a local business in Cowes High Street.
He is involved with the Flying Fifteen keelboat class and competed in the Sonar class at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games.  He currently races regularly out of Cowes.
