Cowes Week 2017

Cowes Yacht Haven hosts the world-famous premier sailing regatta, Cowes Week

Since 1826 Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar and is one of the UK’s longest running and most successful sporting events.

Cowes Yacht Haven is the place to be during this famous sailing week for a buzzing atmosphere, great food and drink and thrilling entertainment every single night.

The event offers a great mix of competitive sailing and social activities. The 8,500 competitors range from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors. In excess of 100,000 spectators come to watch the sailing, enjoy the parties and live entertainment, and to experience the unique atmosphere. It is genuinely a one-of-a-kind event.
In 2017 we will be celebrating Cowes Week July 29th - August 5th

With over 1000 yachts participating, from high-tech racing boats to classic day boats, and with 8,000 people involved, it''s no wonder that Cowes Week is the longest running regular regatta in the world.

As well as sailing activities, Cowes Week offers a large number of onshore activities. Around 50,000 visitors in addition to all the competitors are attracted to Cowes each year by the festival atmosphere of the event.

Cowes Yacht Haven offers an excellent line up of live bands playing in the afternoon and into the early hours.

The next Cowes Week will take place from the 29th July - 5th August. Details will be updated in the run-up to this historical event.
